- Read "Katy No Pockets" by Emmy Payne
- Pockets of Ks
- After you read, put on an apron with lots of pockets.
- Tell the kids that you need to fill the pockets with things that begin with the K sound.
- Have them look around the house, then come back together and fill your pockets with the items.
- Say the name of the item and the K sound as you fill them up!
- Jump like kangaroos

We just read the cutest book about a kangaroo, so I thought I'd share. It's called "Baa, Moo, What Will We Do?" By A. H. Benjamin. If you're not already familiar with it you should totally check it out!
