Feet

four fur feet
  • Read "Four Fur Feet" by Margaret Wise Brown
    1. Whenever you hear the words "four fur feet" stomp your feet.
    2. Make several copies of a bird picture. Use a bird picture to cover the furry animal on each page. Then re-read the story. Instead of "walked" and "four fur feet," use "flew" and "feathery wings." This time, flap your arms whenever you hear "feathery wings."
    3. Repeat again with snake cards and "slithered" and "dry, rough scales." Wiggle your arms to resemble a snake.
