Oatmeal

o

  • Glue O page … Draw a large O on your paper. Line with glue, then sprinkle dry oatmeal over the glue. Shake off the extra oatmeal and let dry!
  • Eat oatmeal for breakfast or lunch. Try some new toppings … brown sugar, blueberries, strawberries, cinnamon or walnuts. What is your favorite oatmeal add-in?!
  • Oatmeal Color Wheel
    1. Need 6 small bowls arranged in a circle.
    2. Make a batch of oatmeal and divide it evenly into 3 of the bowls (every other bowl like the picture below) oatmealwheel
    3. Use food coloring to dye one bowl red, one yellow and one blue. Stir well.
    4. Now take a little red oatmeal and a little yellow oatmeal and mix them together in the empty bowl between the two. You should now have orange oatmeal!
    5. With a clean spoon, mix a little yellow and a little blue oatmeal in the empty bowl between those two. You should have green oatmeal!
    6. Lastly, mix a little blue and a little red oatmeal in the empty bowl between the two. You should have purple oatmeal!
    7. For a yummy snack … add strawberries to the red bowl, banana slices to the yellow bowl, blueberries to the blue bowl. I’ll let you decide what to add to the other bowls Smile Any great ideas?
