During the week before Valentine’s day, we try to do some special Valentine activities. One of them is Valentine Math, using the little boxes of conversation hearts. I like it because they are inexpensive. They each get their own box. Some ideas:
- Sort the candies by color
- Count each color and write it down.
- Line them up (you could even draw a simple graph) and see which color has the most/least.
- Count the candies all together
- Copy down one of the messages on the hearts
- Eat them.
