Groundhog puppet ... Use a brown lunch bag to make a simple groundhog (see picture). Wear your puppet on your hand to act out the following rhyme:
Little groundhog in the ground,
Pop your head up; look around.
Is it cloudy? Is it bright?
Will your shadow give you a fright?
Come on out and have your say
Because today is Groundhog Day!
