Dirt
- Play in the dirt with dump trucks. We always have an excavation worksite in progress in the backyard.
- Find some small shovels, rakes and buckets.
- I love the big Tonka type dump trucks and diggers. You can’t go wrong with those if you find them at a garage sale!!
- Make pudding dirt cups with chocolate pudding, cookies & gummy worms. Click the link for instructions.
- Talk about dirty vs. clean ... clean hair, clean clothes, taking a bath, washing hands, brushing teeth. Show dirty & clean things.
- Have the kids help do a load of laundry (clothes go from dirty to clean!)
- Dirt Bottle
- Place soil in a clean 2-liter pop bottle with the label removed. Fill it about 1/4 full.
- Add water to about 3/4 full.
- Use hot glue to secure the lid.
- Shake it up, then watch it settle.
