Do you remember how much I’m loving my EasyLunchboxes?!
(I love them … see my post and tons of lunch ideas here.)
Well, I contacted Kelly, a mom and the CEO of EasyLunchboxes and asked if I could possibly share her products in a giveaway. She is so sweet and agreed to a terrific giveaway! We have been using these daily for almost two months now. I have two sets. So when one set is in the dishwasher, the other is ready to fill and go! I love that I can pack anything I want for lunch … the possibilities are endless. Plus, no baggies to buy! I was afraid the inside of the lunch bag would get stinky and gross, but I simply wipe it out each day, let it air dry and so far … perfect. No complaints. And I was very happy to see that the bags are even machine washable (cold water, delicate cycle, air dry).
I send them to school with my first-grader and use them at home for my 2 and 3-year-old. They have passed the test here for being tough enough for daily kid use. And we regularly pack them up and take them to soccer games for dinner for the whole family. So easy!

I just love how simple & efficient they are. I hate buying/using baggies!
ReplyDeleteI love this product. I need to get a lunch box for my little Kindergartner and this would be perfect. I love how there is space for everything.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I love how it they are environmentally friendly. They look big enough to hold a lot, which I like too.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I send in my kids lunchbox is a tortilla with containers of cheese and sour cream. They can make their own tacos. Or we do tortillas with peanut butter and banana.
ReplyDeleteI love that you can re use them. I also like the different sections in the tray.
ReplyDeleteI love that is per-sectioned. Its nice to be able to make lunch without stuff touching, especially when my child thinks he has to eat EVERYTHING with ketchup! And it's nice that they can be reused!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my sons favorites is when I use cookie cutters to make designs out of his sandwhichs. Sometimes I'll make him silly faces.
ReplyDeleteFor an easy lunch idea I buy a pack of pasta-roni shells and cheddar and put ham cubes in it! My kids love it! Almost like mac and cheese but tastes so much better! :) The ham makes it that much better! Serve with some fruit and milk and you're good to go!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the portability and how there are less containers overall to open when it's time to eat. Just pop off the top and there's your food instead of multiple baggies. We live about 20-30 min away from town and to have to pack lunch in these for our errands outings or park outings would be amazingly helpful and cut down on eating out costs.
ReplyDeleteLunch suggestions: We love cookie cutter letter sandwiches. Our girls also love pesto, and an easy main lunch item is some precooked grilled chicken strips form COSTCO covered and mixed in some pesto sauce. We make a huge batch at once, and store the leftover sauce in a glass jar to use when convenient.
ReplyDeleteI like that it is portioned. This helps to give just the right amount of food, not too much or too little.
ReplyDeleteI like to roll up pieces of turkey or ham along with some cheese. Then we add crackers and some fruit.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that being able to get rid of plastic bags is the best thing about the easy lunchboxes. What I liked from the website is seeing the pictures of kids using the trays--they're much bigger than I thought, and they look like the perfect size for kids to easily hold! Great product!
ReplyDeleteA fun lunch idea: grape and cheese skewers on toothpicks. Fun to look at, easy to eat! It's like a miniature kebob!
ReplyDeleteThose look so perfect! I love that they only have two pieces and make packing a healthy lunch so easy - no baggies or other random containers to try to keep track of.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite lunch idea is to spread ripe avocado on sandwiches instead of mayo. It adds a new flavor, is way healthier and I don't have to worry so much about keeping it cold.
ReplyDeleteI like that you can make a healthy meal and it can be on the run. Kids can hold them pretty easily in the car. Meal idea pita and hummus with blueberries. One of my kiddos favorites!
ReplyDeleteI like that you don't have to pack a ton of different bags, and you don't have to worry about it being smashed while carrying! This looks like a great product!
ReplyDeleteI love how simple they are. Why didnt I think of this?!

Well...I love everything, lol. I like the compartments, I like the fun colors, I like that they are dishwasher safe, I like they have no BPA and all the other stuff. :)

My son is a very very picky eater, the only thing he will take in his lunch is a pb&j or a lunchable...which I've started to make my own versions of them. :) This would be FABULOUS for that!!!

I love everything about both the containers AND the lunch boxes. The sections are perfect for the kids and I love it that the lunchboxes hold the container UPRIGHT! School lunches are getting so unhealthy for the kids - so it is our job to give our kids something good to eat. One of my kids favorite "main course" for a school lunch is a tortilla wrap: Simply take a tortilla, spread some cream cheese (my kids like the herb one..just a little bit of it), some shredded cheese, and your choice of meat (we often do turkey wraps, chicken wraps, or ham wraps!) Roll on up and enjoy. If you make them ahead of time, they can easily be cut...and stay together because of the cream cheese. These also make a nice appetizer if you have people over!
ReplyDeletemy kiddos love love love peanut butter and honey sandwiches. I think it is their all time favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like the different sections...I always forget to feed my kids veggies and fruit at lunch time so I think this would help me to remember! And I like that I can make them in the morning and have them ready for lunch.
ReplyDeleteOne of our favorite lunches to make is wraps. Just like a sandwich but in a tortilla. Just to mix things up. Also, you can fit a lot more veggies in there!
ReplyDeleteI love that the containers are healthy and safe plastic. I also love that the lids are easy for little fingers to open.
ReplyDeleteOne of my kids' favorite lunches is a mini "quiche". Use 8 eggs, 1/2 C milk and then whatever mix ins your kids like (don't forget to season with salt and pepper). I like to use broccoli, ham and cheddar or mushroom and swiss. The possibilities are endless though. Pour into 2 greased mini-muffin tins and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375.
ReplyDeleteI love that these are reuseable bags! I don't like sending my kids lunches in paper bags because it's just excess waste. Think of all the trash that would be saved if every kid took a reuseable bag to school each day!
ReplyDeleteI have two little boys and one is a pretty picky eater so it's hard to get him to eat vegetables. One thing I love to do is make smoothies out of fruit, ice, milk, and vegetables. You can pretty much put whatever you want in them and the kids will drink them up! I love to throw in spinach with a strawberry/peach smoothie! The color looks gross but they taste just fine and my kids drink them up! This idea doesn't work for kids that go to school though. It could be an after school snack.
ReplyDeleteI like the partitioned containers, I HATE when my crackers get soggy from the grapes or the sauce touches my veggies and rice before I'm ready for it to!
ReplyDeleteEgg salad with crackers and celery sticks to use as a spoon/spreader.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that i wouldn't have to go through 10 ziplock bags a day when making lunches! Hallelujah!
ReplyDeleteMy kiddos are not great sandwich eaters (none of them like peanut butter, wierdos!) So I just make quesadilla and wrap them up instead of a sandwich.
