  • Counting with Little Quack
    1. Read “Little Quack” by Lauren Thompson. Available here!
    2. Use the same cute duck printables from above.
    3. As each duck in the story braves the water, add a duck printable to a blue paper pond and count them!
    4. Thanks for the fun idea The Princess and the Tot!

  • Decorate a Yellow Duck!
    1. Print out the duck outline above.
    2. Use yellow crayons, yellow craft feathers, yellow pom-poms or yellow glitter or sequins to decorate your duck!
  • Play Duck Pond
    1. Float plastic ducks in a tub of water with numbers or ABCs written on the bottom.
    2. Let the kids catch one & identify the # or ABC.

  • Play Lucky Ducks by Hasbro … we enjoy this game. The ducks “swim” around the moving pond. Each one has a colored shape on the bottom. The kids grab a duck, then match the shapes. The quacking sound gets a little old Smile
  • Get a Donald Duck movie from the library & watch it.

snack idea: milk & pieces of bread (like you’d feed a duck) Smile
